What does the Public Trust seal mean for you?

A business carrying the seal declares that it operates under supervision and is committed to the following values:

  • Fairness and Transparency: Providing accurate information and proper disclosure at all stages of the booking.

  • Responsibility and Service: Taking responsibility for the product and maintaining a proper and professional service level.

  • Fairness in Contracts: Drafting agreements and maintaining their terms in accordance with the law and ethical rules.

  • Privacy Protection: Strict protection of your personal information and compliance with legal provisions.

About the "Public Trust" Organization

The Public Trust organization (a non-profit - Public Benefit Corporation) is a social organization operating to promote fairness in the conduct of businesses and public institutions in Israel. The seal signals to consumers where they can do business with peace of mind, knowing they have the professional backing of an organization that looks out for their rights.

The Certification and Monitoring Process

It is important to know that not every business is permitted to carry the seal. Receiving it is contingent upon a rigorous candidacy process:

  • In-depth Examination: During the candidacy stage, all of the business's consumer interfaces are examined against legal requirements and organizational rules.

  • Correction of Deficiencies: The business commits to correcting any deficiency found during the audit as a condition for receiving the seal.

  • Ongoing Monitoring: A business carrying the seal is under an ongoing monitoring process and commits to resolving factual disputes with its customers transparently.
